As we had said in our earlier posts on Street Food and Street Art, Penang is full of things to see and places to explore. We spent much of our time walking the streets of Georgetown, but also got out to see other parts of the island by way of the city bus. This is a cheep alternative to taking a taxi as long as you give yourself ample time to get somewhere.
Singapore is a country in full swing, with eccentric architecture, big business and food stalls open until the wee hours of the night. This city and country of the same name has risen from the depths since becoming occupied by the Japanese then the British and later Malaysia before their independence in 1965 to becoming one of the richest countries in the world.
